Valkyrie's Fire took the stage as the 2nd band on the bill for the night of March 21, 2026 - with fans traveling from cities such as Washington, DC, Atlanta, GA, and New Jersey to watch the stellar performance delivered by this Nashville, TN Symphonic Power Metal band. Not only did Valkyrie's Fire deliver a scorching set, they were the surprise hit of the show and kicked everyone's ass - capturing the hearts of the other bands and their fans!

It was a night for metal heads to indulge their appetite for epic metal as 3 amazing bands took to the stage. Richmond locals "Symphony of Destiny" opened the night,

with metal stalwarts "A Sound of Thunder" closing out the night after Valkyrie's Fire delivered their scorching performance.

A Sound of Thunder vocalist Nina Osegueda took the stage after Valkyrie's Fire finished their set, and proclaimed "That's going to be hard to follow".

Nina and her band then proceeded to finish their set, after which she immediately jumped off the stage and headed straight to the Valkyrie's Fire merch table to not only buy a shirt, but immediately change into the shirt to proclaim her support at her band's merch table for one of her new favorite bands!

Overall, it was a great night for the bands and for the fans!! 3 great bands and yet another epic performance in the books for Valkyrie's Fire.

In the words of A Sound of Thunder vocalist Nina - "Everyone who didn't come tonight really missed out - Valkyrie's Fire Rules!!"

Symphony of Destiny went on to share a social media post proclaiming "Ladies and gentlemen, Valkyrie's Fire at Canal Club on March 21st! If you were not there, you missed out! This band gave an incredible performance that blew everyone away! Without question, we want them to come back to Richmond!"

Last, but certainly not least, Valkyrie's Fire had a very special guest in attendance from the Washington DC area - Twitch Streamer and YouTube Personality Laila Melodie.

Arriving early in the day, Laila prepped for her surprise meeting with Valkyrie's Fire by once again dressing up as Bettie Floyd which brought a smile to the entire band!

Laila was super excited to meet one of her favorite vocalists and one of her favorite bands, so before Valkyrie's Fire took the stage, Laila surprised the band with a very special interview (which will be aired in the near future).

Laila and her bubbly and fun personality was an instant hit with all of the members of Valkyrie's Fire, and the interview process was professional, yet lots of fun!!

Laila Melodie originally became a fan of Valkyrie's Fire a couple years ago when superfan John Craig (aka Symphonic Metalhead) was following Laila on a live Twitch session and suggested that she review the new music video from Valkyrie's Fire - Warrior of the Night.

Laila was hooked and instantly became a superfan as well. Later that year, Laila ran a contest asking her fans to vote for who she should dress up as during an upcoming cosplay episode, and overwhelming, Bettie Floyd of Valkyrie's Fire was the top choice among Laila's streaming audience.
