SALEM

Salem is a classically trained keyboardist, cellist, and vocalist from North Carolina.

Salem has always had a passion for music, and she learned about Valkyrie's Fire at RockNPod 2025 while visiting Nashville. 

Shortly after, she moved to Nashville and began speaking with the band about her love for Symphonic Metal.

She joined Valkyrie's Fire in August 2025. 

 

Salem cites her biggest inspirations as J.S. Bach, Emilie Autumn, Danny Elfman, Kanon Wakeshima, and Within Temptation was her introduction to Symphonic Metal. 

Salem is an accomplished and highly trained Cellist, pianist and Vocalist. She has been training in music since she was a young teenager.

Salem received her bachelors degree in Cello and Composition at the California Institute of the Arts (2018). As a teen, Salem studied cello in the high school program at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts (2014), where she received her high school degree in cello.

Currently, Salem also teaches music at the School of Rock in Franklin, TN. and does session work for other musicians. In addition to her work as a musician, Salem has composed songs and scores for Podcasts and films such as 2023's The Outwaters and Tinsman Road (2025).
