Valkyrie's Fire has been nominated for an award for the 2nd year in a row at The Josie Music Awards. For 2025, Valkyrie's Fire has secured a nomination for MUSIC VIDEO OF THE YEAR for their epic music video - Ride of the Valkyrie.

Produced by Austin Dellamano of Weems Creative, and directed by Austin Dellamano and Dave Hale - bassist for Valkyrie's Fire, Ride of the Valkyrie is an epic song that deserved an equally epic music video, and Valkyrie's Fire did not fail to deliver.

In the cast of actors and actresses, two were also nominated for a Josie Music Award in the roles of Best Actor and Best Actress in a Music Video.

Chris O'Brien - vocalist for the band Blackwood - secured the nomination for the Best Actor in a Music Video with his intense and non-stop scenes in which he delivered a fierce Viking berserker portrayal - eventually killing all those he fought against in his effort to secure his claim to the halls of Valhalla as a proud Viking warrior. For 8 straight hours, Chris endured every battle scene and countless filming takes and re-takes for which he certainly deserves to be awarded as the Best Actor in a Music Video.

For her nomination as the Best Actress in a Music Video, Anne Joers - who played the role of the Viking Queen Lagertha - fought gallantly during the 8 hours of filming, which culminated in the death of her Viking husband Ragnar - portrayed by Valkyrie's Fire bassist Dave Hale - for which she screamed and wept intensely in the music video before the Valkyries carried Ragnar's soul to Valhalla.

Anne also was in charge of makeup for the cast, and the copious amounts of fake blood used in the music video.

For her dedication to this role, and her intense and emotional acting in the music video, Anne certainly is worthy of the award for Best Actress in a Music Video.
