Symphonic Power Metal band Valkyrie's Fire is proud to announce the title and artwork for their upcoming debut full length album!
The new album titled "OUT OF DARKNESS" is set to be released on September 18, 2026 via Eclipse Records and features 13 tracks with a scorching 72 minutes of new music!
Featuring full album artwork designed by the amazing Jan Yrlund of DarkGrove Design - known for his work with Battle Beast, Delain, Manowar, Tina Guo, and more - this new album is a showcase of the growth and maturity of the music of Valkyrie's Fire, and the aptly named album title is a testament to the fact that this band from the southern USA is quickly becoming a world-renowned powerhouse within the metal scene.
Valkyrie's Fire has definitively set the bar very high in the Symphonic Power Metal genre with their new album, and the diversity of the songs on this new album has the metal industry clamoring to write their reviews for this epic masterpiece!
Valkyrie's Fire is a band that has launched onto the metal scene with a vengeance, and while never satisfied with just being another band within the Symphonic Power Metal scene, they have indeed set their sights high by also securing the vocal prowess of the legendary Mikael Sehlin from Amaranthe to not only lend his amazing harsh vocals to the epic debut single "Burning Sky", but also appearing in the official music video - released on June 16, 2026.

Mikael Sehlin is also the mastering engineer for this amazing debut album by Valkyrie's Fire, proudly declaring to be a "super-stoked engineer" and "makes me happy when comparing this to your 2024 release - ours feels waaay bigger!"
Mikael Sehlin spoke with Valkyrie's Fire founder and bassist Dave Hale in January 2026, and after Mikael's enthusiasm for wanting to work with Valkyrie's Fire, Mikael mapped out a plan with Dave to make this collaboration become reality - even while Mikael's band Amaranthe was on a massive world tour in Europe and South America with fellow metal titans Epica and Charlotte Wessels (formerly of Delain).
Valkyrie's Fire guitarist Joey Grimaldi mixed and produced this iconic album, and handed it off to Mikael to finish the mastering between the European and South American tour dates.
Working extremely hard behind the scenes, Valkyrie's Fire vocalists Adam Sanders and Bettie Floyd not only contributed their incredible vocal talents to this new album, they also did composition work, lyric writing, and more. Bettie Floyd's suggestion for the name of the album being titled "Out of Darkness" was ultimately the decisive winner among the band members as well. Adam Sanders also created the album intro track "In Spirit, In Shadow" which launches the listener into the epic listening experience in this masterpiece of a debut album!!
Ryan Metroka (drums) and Salem Belladonna (keys/cello) also contributed to the lyric writing process, and songs for the album - showing their creativity and talents in the creation process as well. The team effort on this album is evident in every facet of it.
The future for Valkyrie's Fire is very bright as these talented musicians and creators are paving a new path for the Symphonic, Power, and Melodic Metal genre. This band has proven once again that they are the leaders in the USA in this genre of metal, and this album showcases their incredible talents, passion, and creativity!
