The summer is just starting to heat up, and what better way to introduce the summer heat than with Nashville's very own Valkyrie's Fire!!
Born in the heat of the summer in July 2023, Valkyrie's Fire is blazing a worldwide fiery trail and they have no intentions of slowing down!! As we approach their 2nd anniversary, Valkyrie's Fire is the latest hot topic on the lips of everyone that comes across this band; and while you may be looking for a way to cool down from this intense heat, Valkyrie's Fire is not the water that will cool your lips, but they will indeed quench your thirst for the hottest new Symphonic and Power Metal on the planet.
Valkyrie's Fire is a band that you NEED to know about!! While they were born in the deep south of the USA, their music style is far from what you would expect from Nashville, TN. Valkyrie's Fire are one of the hottest metal bands to rise from the southern USA in quite some time, and they are quickly rising to become one of the premier Symphonic Metal bands in the USA, and we dare say - THE WORLD!! With a slogan of EPIC EUROPEAN METAL FROM THE USA, Valkyrie's Fire has indeed shown they can deliver the goods to fans around the world!!!
Valkyrie's Fire came onto the radar of Ion Indie Magazine writer Tracey Torres in late 2024, just after they released their debut EP "Ascension", and when she heard they would be one of the rare featured bands at the 2025 RockNPod convention held in Nashville, TN, in April 2025, she made her way to meet them in person!!
Valkyrie's Fire was the headliner of the Nashville RockNFest - held as a pre-cursor show for RockNPod weekend - and after seeing the band perform live and blow the minds of all in attendance, she was incredibly excited to speak with the band the next day at RockNPod.
Valkyrie's Fire had a full slate of interviews already lined up for the RockNPod convention, but she managed to briefly meet the band, and tell them of her desire to write an article about the band. Valkyrie's Fire gave Tracey their blessing, and this is the newly released article that was just released for the July/August 2025 issue of Ion Indie Magazine.
Valkyrie's Fire is currently recording a full length album to be released in late 2025 or early 2026, and they are also staying busy traveling around the USA performing shows at legendary venues such as Reggie's in Chicago - where the band performed at the 2025 Legions of Metal Fest, and opened up for bands such as Crimson Glory, Seven Spires, and Seven Kingdoms. Valkyrie's Fire is also headlining many other shows in cities including Atlanta and Nashville, and they will also headline the 2025 Southwest Power Fest in Texas.
