Valkyrie's Fire Goes International

On May 1st, Valkyrie's Fire became an international touring band, crossing the border of the USA into Windsor, Ontario, Canada while on tour with Thunderforge.

Yes, you need a passport, and yes it was still cold up north. We saw snow flurries that night, but the heat inside the packed venue was intense!! We love you Canada!!

YES!! We will be back soon!!! The staff, crowd, and even the security at The Cherry Rock Lounge in Windsor were top notch, and we had an amazing time in Canada!! (peep the guns on the bouncer Jacob in our Valkyrie's Fire tank top!)

Our Northeast tour began with driving into NYC - staying at the childhood home of our Italian guitarist, Joey Grimaldi - and we enjoyed an amazing day out and around the suburbs, visiting shops, sampling food, and ending the day with some true Italian NYC pizza.

We then ventured into Easthampton, MA for an incredible show, packed to the walls with fans, at the awesome THCC venue!! Tour mates Thunderforge closed out the night with an incredible show, and the fans were enthralled and pumped after a killer night of music!

Staying in Connecticut with the guitarist for Thunderforge, we had a great time grilling some burgers, hanging out and talking late into the night before finally turning into for some sleep.

Day 3 saw us on the road to Cleveland, OH for a show that night at Dunlaps Corner Bar, where Iron Brigade joined us for this stop on the tour. All 3 bands delivered an epic show, and it was another night of great music and more merch was sold!

We travelled into Detroit, MI after our show and stopped for the night before our early morning breakfast at Tim Horton's for some good Canadian coffee and pastries, and then it was time to cross over the border for another night of incredible music and fun at The Cherry Rock Lounge!! This venue gets a high recommendation from Valkyrie's Fire because every Canadian we met was soooo AWESOME!!!!

Day 4 in Canada was a huge success! Not only was the Italian food just downstairs from the venue absolutely great, the bar staff upstairs in the venue, the security, and the sound guys were the best!!

Do we have plans to be back in Canada? YES we do!! We WILL perform again for The Cherry Rock Lounge, so listen up for the announcement in the near future!!

Thunderforge was the perfect tour mates for our band, and after performing with them in Nashville in 2025, when we got the plans started for a Northeast USA and Canadian tour run, we immediately jumped on board!! We love those guys!!

On May 2nd, Thunderforge continued on to Chicago to play the Legions of Metal Fest - where Valkyrie's Fire performed in 2025 - and we headed back down to the south to get ready for a conclusion to our east coast tour run providing direct support at a sold out show with Psychostick in TN.
